I saw Brave!

Normally I'd ship something -- Merida with one of the clan sons -- but I'm having a lot of trouble picking between Macintosh and MacGuffin. I'm leaning towards MacGuffin -- except that he can't really speak. . .

So in the meantime I decided to work in something new, try to expand the universe a bit. . .and made Clan MacAddis.

In short, they're one big family. Five grandparents (who are not drawn), eight parents and eleven kids, plus seven dogs and four horses (the horses pull two wagons). They're also nomads, going from place to place.

As such, they can't afford to be strict with their male/female rules; an additional hunter is an additional hunter. Three of the four daughters and two of the mothers have taken to this way of life, and they're quite talented in it.

I tried to keep to the style, but the style is so VARIED in so many ways. I guess the only way to really go about it is to exaggerate the key features -- I've attempted to do so already with the two parents up there.

Ardal's key feature is that he's the broadest of the men, and the most adoring of his wife and kids.

I have the parents' family trees all worked out, but that's unnecessary for the WIP, I think. Suffice to say I DID think this through.
